Introduce yourself!
Hi, my name is Sarah Brueck, the Co-Director for stART on the Street. I'm very excited to open up this forum for all types of communications between the artists who are members of this website. We hope to foster a way for our community to communicate about the festival and any other topics of interest involving the creativity and business of art and craft. Personally, I am a textile and jewelry artist and dabble in stained glass, silk painting, felting - whatever medium interests me. My business is Three Cat Nite but unfortunately it's been a few years since I've been able to dedicate a significant amount of time to my art :( I was featured in an episode of That's Clever and Uncommon Threads (with 2 other talented artists) featured on the DIY Network and HGTV Networks. I have participated in over 50 shows as far away as Handmade Arcade in Pittsburgh; my first show I ever sold at was stART on the Street (the first one in 2002 on Main Street). I'm currently the baker at the Armsby Abbey in Worcester and live in the Woo with my 6 year old son and boyfriend.I've been a part of stART since the beginning but became seriously involved in 2005 and since have headed up the Coordinating of the Visual Artists, website design and a bunch of other odds and ends.I'd love to hear a little more about all the amazing artists...c'mon...INTRODUCE YOURSELF!
